In Brechfa school this term as P.E. we looked at some dances then tried them out.
First we saw 2 girls from Bro Myrddin perform 3 dances for us- a disco dance, a folk dance and a creative dance. After we tried one out, it was quite easy. After they did the dances we asked some questions and they told us that they have been dancing since they were young. They also told us they’ve been dancing on TV.
Next we did a creative dance. We had to make up a dance about a season. I did summer. I had to walk around the other’s in my group. Lastly we watched an Oompa-loompa dance from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and then we were put into pairs and we had to mirror each other . I was paired up with Alex . Then we showed our dance to the others.

Roedd y ffatri siocled yn fawr gyda peiriannau mawr. Roedd Coco’r clown yn dangos y ffatri i ni. Roedden ni’n gallu bwyta siocled, siocled tywyll a siocled gwyn. Fy hoff siocled i oedd siocled wedi toddi ar marshmallow. Roedd y siop yn llawn o siocled blasus.

We went on a trip to the Chocolate Factory on the 8th of February. We learnt how to make chocolate and we got to taste it. Coco the clown took us around the factory and let us see all the machines they used. We had marshmallows dipped in melted chocolate. We saw how to make chocolate gifts that were hollow. After that we saw chocolate being wrapped. At the end we all went to the shop and bought lots of sweets. And then we went back to school in a bus and watched a video in the bus.

In the 1940's Swansea Bay Museum we were met by someone dressed up as a person out of the homeguard. He told us how much they had to eat during the war and then he took us to have a look around the Museum. In the Museum there was shops and pubs from the war and we got to dress up as people from the war. After that we went to the shop. In the shop there were things from the Second World War. Then we went out side and they showed us a jeep from the Second World War and near that there was an empty bomb. Also out side there was a spitfire engine. Then we went in side to eat our lunch.
